Protection measures for the working environment and personal safety of employees

The company has long been committed to environmental protection, energy conservation, and employee care, and has passed the ISO-45001 occupational safety and health management system. The current validity period is from June 2, 2022, to June 1, 2025. We hope to grow with the company and also fulfill social responsibilities and move towards sustainable management.

Employee Working Environment and Personal Safety

The company has set up a dedicated occupational safety and health management unit in accordance with the law, responsible for formulating occupational safety and health management plans, promoting various safety and health management matters such as the identification, assessment, and control of working environment and operational hazards, and implementing mechanical equipment, operations pre-automatic inspections, and operating environment monitoring to continuously improve safety and sanitation facilities to create a safe, healthy, comfortable, and friendly working environment. At the same time, specially appointed doctors and nursing staff are engaged in on-site health services, planning and implementing labor health education, health promotion, and hygiene guidance, handling the prevention and treatment of work-related injuries, health consultation, first aid, and emergency treatment, and strengthening labor health care.

Maintenance and Inspection of Various Equipment

  • Inspections will be carried out annually in accordance with the building public safety inspection visa and declaration regulations.
  • In accordance with the provisions of the Fire Protection Law, fire protection inspections are outsourced every year.
  • Perform monthly self-inspection of fire safety equipment in accordance with the Fire Protection Law.
  • In accordance with the Labor Safety and Health Act, inspections of high and low voltage equipment are outsourced every year.
  • In accordance with the Labor Safety and Health Act, outsource lift inspection and maintenance every month.
  • Monthly outsourcing inspection and maintenance of electrical equipment.

Disaster Prevention Measures and Response

  • Develop safety and health management plans in accordance with the Labor Safety and Health Act to prevent occupational accidents.
  • Conduct four hours of self-defense firefighting training every six months in accordance with the Fire Protection Law.
  • In accordance with the Labor Safety and Health Law and Fire Protection Law, on-site safety and health personnel, various types of operation supervisors, operators, fire prevention management personnel, and security supervisors are outsourced for training every year.
  • Cooperate with ISO 14000 to handle chemical-related emergency response every year.
  • Establish an emergency response team to reduce the impact on people and property in emergencies.

Physiological Hygiene

  • In accordance with the Labor Safety and Health Act, new employees are required to undergo physical examinations, and current employees are required to undergo regular health examinations every year or every two years.
  • Conduct quarterly inspections of drinking water in accordance with drinking water management regulations.
  • Conduct working environment measurements every six months in accordance with the Labor Safety and Health Act.

Notification of Hazardous Factors in Contractor’s Work

In accordance with the Labor Safety and Health Act, contractors are required to control hazardous operations and notify hazards.

Continuous Monitoring and Auditing

For environmental safety operations in the factory, in addition to carrying out various environmental tests and personnel working environment measurements in accordance with the law, we also establish complete audit procedures, as well as daily inspections, high-risk operation inspections, and supervisor inspections to implement continuous improvements and improve environmental safety performance.

The occupational safety and health management system is managed by identifying hazard factors, risk assessment, and control, and uses a systematic operation method to prevent accidents and reduce employee hazard risks to improve the safety environment. Based on good occupational safety and health control, there were no cases of occupational injuries in the factory in 2022.

A healthy and safe workplace environment is the result of the joint efforts of the company and its employees. In addition to improving the safety management of hardware equipment, it also ensures that supervisors at all levels and all employees receive necessary industrial safety education and training to enhance safety awareness, including work-study students, contract workers, temporary workers, and even contractors and suppliers who enter the production area.
