Supplier CSR and Conduct Criteria
In order to establish, energy conservation, environmental protection, worker safety and human rights and other socially responsible and sustainable operations, Qiangsheng Dyeing and Finishing Co., Ltd. expects its supplier partners to maintain high ethical standards and respect human rights, environmental sustainability, labor rights, health and safe working environment and other large issues progress and development joint efforts.
In order to implement its suppliers’ corporate social responsibility, the Company has developed the Supplier Corporate Social Responsibility and Conduct Standards (hereinafter referred to as “these Standards”), which apply to all of the goods or services provided by joint ventures or subsidiaries of Qiangsheng Dyeing and Finishing and its subsidiaries companies and requires their suppliers and their associated supply chain manufacturers and employees to comply with this criteria. Treat suppliers as partners and guide suppliers to cooperate for a long time to jointly build stable and developing supply chain relationships.
(1) Responsibilities and obligations of suppliers
- Suppliers agree to perform necessary actions to fulfill corporate social responsibilities and fulfill their responsibilities to implement this Code within the company and other upstream and downstream supply chain requirements. Suppliers also cooperate with the company in conducting on-site inspections and requiring improvements, corrections and other measures.
- Suppliers must have a full understanding of the raw materials they use to ensure that these raw materials are obtained from licensed sources that comply with laws and regulations, including countries or regions that restrict import and export economic sanctions (refer to the United Nations Sanctions Regulations).
(2) Moral standards
The company has always adhered to the highest standards of ethics for both internal staff and external partners, and prohibits suppliers from engaging in any form of bribery and/or transfer of improper benefits to any unit of the company and/or individual employees or relatives and friends. Once the company verification is found to be true, the supplier will be subject to suspension and legal prosecution in accordance with relevant regulations and laws. If the company suffers any damage as a result, including but not limited to goodwill, it will also seek compensation for damages.
(3) Respect for human rights
- Suppliers shall implement a right to equality and freedom policy for all employees, prohibiting any employee due to gender, religion, race, class, social status, party, national origin, creed, age, disability, marital status, gender orientation, etc Any differential treatment in employment, promotion, wages, or related work rights shall not be in any form of inappropriate conduct and illegality such as threats, harassment, corporal punishment, mental or physical coercion, verbal violence, etc.
- Suppliers shall strictly comply with the International Labor Organization Convention, the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and the relevant decrees in the location of the supplier stipulate that the employment of child labor is prohibited and that their upstream and downstream supply chains are required to comply.
(4) Environmental sustainability
- Suppliers agree to abide by the environmental laws and regulations of the country where they are located, and actively pursue green environmental protection, energy conservation and carbon reduction as their goals, and continuously implement improvement plans to achieve environmental sustainability as corporate social responsibilities.
- Suppliers must strictly abide by all laws prohibiting or restricting the use of toxic substances, and implement statutory operations requiring the handling, transfer, storage, recycling, and reuse of toxic substances. We also commit to reducing the impact on the environment based on relevant laws and regulations regarding pollution including but not limited to waste water, exhaust gas, noise and various wastes. Provide adequate training to workers engaged in this work and announce relevant precautions in the workplace.
(5) Privacy and intellectual property rights
Suppliers must use appropriate security measures to protect all the company's information, electronic data, intellectual property or technology to ensure the security of the company and its suppliers' intellectual property rights. Suppliers can only obtain the company's information under the authorization of the company's confidentiality agreement. confidential information and must fulfill its obligations, not to leak confidential information, not to use information beyond the scope of the agreement, and to protect the information from misuse or unauthorized disclosure. The supplier can also request the company for confidential information that the supplier is authorized to provide. Security measures are in place to protect Suppliers from using the Company's trademarks, images, or other copyrighted material unless expressly authorized, nor from counterfeiting.
(6) Healthy and safe working environment
- Suppliers should abide by the relevant domestic and international laws and regulations on labor safety and health in the country where they are located, and agree to the "Construction Personnel Safety and Discipline Commitment", "Construction Personnel Health Commitment" and "Manufacturer Safety, Health and Environmental Protection" formulated by the company. The regulations set out in the "Cut Off Book".
- In addition to arranging personnel with relevant labor safety certificates in accordance with laws and regulations, suppliers should provide employees with sufficient education and training to ensure that employees have knowledge and skills related to labor safety and health.
(7) Sources of conflict-free minerals
- Avoid using minerals from Congo and its surrounding countries and regions. The company will continue to promote reliable mineral sources and expect suppliers to communicate this to upstream suppliers.
- Suppliers should conduct due diligence on the source of minerals and supervise the supply chain, and provide relevant supporting information in a timely manner upon customer request.
